I’m an incoming freshman for 2018/19, and going through this site, I can’t find much about the best dorm for a more antisocial person. I get the idea that the freshman five dorms are generally packed/busy, but what one would a more antisocial person best fit in?

I lived in Sharp last year and I would recommend it highly. You do have your own room, which is really amazing, especially for studying and relaxing purposes. The only thing is that you do have 5 other roommates that you’ll have to interact with, but at least it isn’t an entire hall. In ordinary freshmen dorms, it can be extremely noisy as there are many rooms on each hallway. In Sharp, each room in contained within a suite which has its own door to the hallway, and is only across from one other suite on each floor. Overall, I would absolutely recommend, as I met my best friends in my suite, and in other suites throughout the hall. The only thing is that the suites are in high demand, so if somehow you are able to talk to five other people and arrange to live together before, you will have a better chance of getting a suite if you already have a group of six formed. Hope this helps, good luck with freshman year!!!!!
